Let me tell you, it was an intense week keeping up with you lot while they were away! Between organizing the games, keeping our usual orders on track, and handling the social media (seriously, who knew that was so much work?!), we were busy! Jess learned that video editing is definitely not her favourite thing in the world, and I realised that being a perfectionist doesn’t mix well with graphic design. That crossword graphic? Wow, that took me to a new level of darkness, but I loved every minute of it—stress and all! 😂
I see you all have been reading our blogs closely🙏🙌 which is awesome because some of the game answers were hidden in there. How did you all do with last week's riddle? We might throw a few more your way soon, so stay tuned to our blog—it could give you the edge in our upcoming games.
Right now, we’re full steam ahead into spooky season—even though it's only AUGUST!! I can't wait for those dark, spooky nights to arrive. Halloween outfit planning, pumpkin carving, and cozy vibes are right around the corner. Speaking of pumpkins, I’m loving our pumpkin burner! Should we make more of these for other occasions too? Let me know what you think 👀. Every time someone mentions autumn or August, I can’t help but break into song. All my fellow Swifties out there—you get me! (Jess looks at me like I’ve lost the plot, but Corinne totally gets it).
John and I have been working on a little something behind the scenes. I was hoping to have it ready in time for spooky season, but it might need to turn into more of a Christmas surprise. Either way, I think you’re going to love it! Something about this time of year just makes me feel much more creative. I'm pleased corinne and john have the patience for me to focus that energy here. They help me channel all that energy into something productive instead of letting me go off on a wild tangent (like when I get the sudden urge to rip out part of my house for a random project 😅 which I may or may not have done already 👀).
